The newer EFI 460 style with solenoid on starter has 10 teeth instead of 9 like the old style. I think the main difference is nose cone length, IIRC its 2" vs 2-1/4". One is for auto, one is for manual
This did not work well for my 460 with c6 and 400 flywheel. It ground something awful. Had to go with the shorter 2" nose cone 400 starter
