ok guys need some input!

Have a 1999 f350 build date of 3/99 with 180k on the odo has down tube to 5" exhaust, cold air box, and running a bully dog gt tuner (not afraid to change at all)

Truck is driver not daily but a few days a week, and used to pull the horses and cattle around a couple times a month. Not looking to be drag racer but enough to get out of is way when romped on...

Turbo is very weak(barks when empty runnen up hill or heavy acceleration on stock settings) and have 2 bad injectors in it. compresion is good across the slugs...

Since Im tearing into it im going to replace all glow plugs, the valve cover gaskets, and injectors along with turbo.

Looking at adding a little bigger injector and turbo if needed can add the t500 terminator hpop.

For injectors which size and brand?

And turbo? find a van turbo and go with it or?

Also while under the valve covers anything need to be retorqued?

Also locaed in Denton TX so when the time comes to put it together (hopefully order all parts this monday) can supply some cold brews to those willing to lend a hand lol

A van turbo should work well but I would go for a 38R. Riffraff Diesel: Garrett GTP38R PowerMax Ball Bearing Turbo
For your goals a set of Stage 1 SS injectors would be plenty and priced close to stock. Riffraff Diesel: Stage 1 Single Shot Injectors The only down side is, you will need to sell the Bully Dog and get a chip with custom tunes to run the single shot injectors. Since you have a late 99. You can rebuild the turbo Riffraff Diesel: Garrett GTP38 Journal Bearing Rebuild Kit if you wanted to stay stock and maybe change the compressor wheel Riffraff Diesel: Borg Warner Anti-Surge Compressor Wheel or housing Riffraff Diesel: USA Ported Compressor Housing to take care of that surge(Seems like what you are describing as bark) Van Turbo would be a decent upgrade if you can find one or you can just add a 1.00 turbine housing Riffraff Diesel: Garrett 1.0 A/R Wastegated Exhaust Housing and make yours one.

Unless you want to go really big with injectors then you will need either a drop in replacement turbo the 38R Riffraff Diesel: Garrett GTP38R PowerMax Ball Bearing Turbo or go with a T4 setup to run a lot of different turbos like the H2E Riffraff Diesel: Hypermax H2E Turbo or GQSSB Riffraff Diesel: WOP GQSSB Turbo

As for injectors depending on what you want out of the truck will determine that as well. Riffraff Diesel Performance Parts: Diesel fuel injectors | Ford Powerstroke fuel injectors | 7.3L Fuel Injector - Full Force Diesel / Casserly

In my opinion a good setup could be New Single Shots in Stage of your choice. Just so you are aware though all larger injectors will require "Custom Tuning" from your choice of tuner, and a GQSSB turbo. Strong reliable 350ish+ RWHP.

There are quite a few Texas members that might help. Once you are to the injectors you can ask or search for more torque stuff, but here is rocker arm pedestals and injector hold downs.
