Still having issues.

Ok so truck was smoking a ton and then shut off, replaced the IPR with a new one, still getting a ton of smoke so took out all of the injectors found one with a broken tip and ordered a new one, ordered new o-rings for all of them and installed them.

Just got everything put back together tonight, took it for a spin, about 20 miles, I get white smoke when keeping it at a steady speed and grey/black smoke when I stomp on it.

Still seems to be running a little rough still.

And it is shifting hard again, letting the engine rev. up to about 2700rpm before it shifts.

Noticed CCV Doghouse was leaking so I ordered new o-rings for that.

This truck is starting to drive me crazy, I feel like I am still missing something.

Has had a new ICP, & CPS within the last 2 months as well.

Also "wait to start" light isnt staying on very long since I have put all this back together, did I forget to plug something in? I tried to follow the directions provided from Riff Raff to a T.

Leaking some oil when I pulled back in, but pretty sure its from the CCV, and the oil level is good, I checked it.

What else should I check?

Old injector orings, the pink ones work great for that BTW.

Just 20 miles since reinstalling the injectors? Wait a bit and see if it gets better, it can take quite a while. What about a quick check for blowby? Have you done that in a while?

As for the trans shifting, motor performance can have an affect on the transmission, I would wait on that too.

And to the WTS light, it will vary depending on Engine oil temperature too.

Quick check is with the motor running, flip the oi fill cap over and set it atop the oil fill neck, it should sit there with no pressure behind it.

A/Ox4 has a video in which he used a golf ball though too.

Compression test unfortunately. Might have washed out a cylinder or cracked a piston.

Well before I jump to far ahead, you did just pull all injectors, what are the odds, you didn't get them seated greatly?

Its possible that I didnt, would kinda make sense wouldnt it? Golly I would hate to do all this all over again.

Any tricks for the back passenger side one? It was a pain! That would be my 1st guess for one that didnt get seated properly.

Take off the VC's and use a straight edge across the solenoids to see if they are all seated well, also inspect all the pushrods and rocker arms for breaks or bends. Make sure you reinstalled the GP's and are not experiencing a leak there too.

Also when you say it has blow by now, is it pressurized or just smokey?

Both.

Ok, I'll try the straight edge.

The pressure is the concern just making sure you weren't just talking smoke. I hope that you find one that is not seated.

Alan is leading you the right way. But I think you need to do the compression test. Start with the one that had the broken tip. Pressure is always a bad sign sorry to say. I hope I'm wrong, good luck. I'll be watching this tread.
