Coolant top up

i am wondering if I can top up my coolant in my 04 with something other than the ford gold? I am a low on coolant and have some green diesel coolant at home but none of the gold. What should I do? I live about 30 min drive to either a ford dealer or auto parts store.

Nope, if you are not having problems wait till you purchase the right coolant. The degas bottle does not have to be full, min or lower is fine.
