As crazy as it sounds, the dryer sheet is a good idea and I have also heard of using PAM on a sponge to help prevent them from sticking. You haven't seen bugs until you have to deal with the LoveBugs here in Florida! Here's a link: http://www.gainesville.com/article/2...0519836/0/news

Oh I remember the love-bugs when I lived in South Florida... I remember driving down the Turnpike and seeing clouds of them. I still shudder when I think of them.
Here in Texas, we have HUGE bugs. There are not as many bugs as the love-bug clouds, but when they hit the truck they leave a mark.
We spent our last winter in Florida for a while and will be in the SW next fall, winter and spring so no more Love Bugs . What I did before we left was wax the front cap and when we stopped in SW Georgia for the night we had a very heavy dew (normal for there) so in the morning they were well hydrated and easy to clean off with water and my long handled washing brush.
Here in the Tampa Bay area, its love bug season again.
Has anyone tried the Rain-X or Prestone 'bug dissolving' wiper liquid?
Does it doe any better than the regular wiper liquid?
What about using it 'by hand' as a cleaner liquid when scrubbing them off?
