Truck Won't Start

Truck Won't Start
Started working on my early 99 to get the old seats out and put upgraded ones in (power and heat both sides). Took out all of the old seats, the old stereo equipment under the back seat (power booster, multi-CD changer that's long since gone, etc.) and wires, many of the seat belts, and the outer part of the dash. Also took the carpet out and washed it down. Amazing how much stuff was in there.
I needed to start it, and when I pushed the clutch in, it wouldn't even turn over. I had placed a fuse tap in the #30 fuse location (to get a switch-on power source, which was why I was trying to start it-30A fuse). The batteries are connected and good, but it won't start. I had taken that #30 fuse out before, and the truck turned over but wouldn't start. Now it won't turn over at all. The #30 fuse is the pcm relay coil, fuel heater, wastegate solenoid, and injector driver module relay coil.
The other thing that's odd is that the parking lights and rear lights flicker like the emergency flashers are on, but the emergency flasher switch isn't on, and they flash for about 10 seconds then stop on their own. At one point when I closed a rear door, the lights started flashing again then went off again on their own.
The only wiring I had done was a 30A in-line fuse and a 20A in-line fuse coming from the battery, but nothing yet touching under the dash. Any ideas ?

I'd find a different fuse to pull key on power from. If you haven't used the Ford supplied customer access wire, tie into that one and run the items off a relay for the key on part.
Make sure you didn't blow that 30 amp fuse. As you said, the truck won't start without it. As for the nothing happens when you turn the key, look up under the dash at your CPP (clutch pedal position switch) and see if it got knocked loose or fell off the clutch rod.
