I know these threads have been beat to death, but here's my tow impression anyway. I hitched my 29' camper with a GVWR of 8600 lbs., but is approx. 6500 lbs., to my employer's '11 King Ranch EcoBoost and was quite impressed with it's torque at low rpm's. The engine never had to rev high to pull, and part throttle driving on inclines was the norm. Trans temp never went above 204, but was mostly at around 195 degrees, and full throttle enabled the truck to pull pretty strong with out too much noise. It was no rocket ship, but power felt like a big and powerful V8, but sounded like a fairly quiet V6. I've driven this truck and power is real impressive, but after towing with it, now I'm completely sold.
