its fits with just a lil room there is no body lift on it at all
Thanks 4 the post back.
Must B outta a car then? A truck would B too high. But U don't want a dohc in a truck (bronk)...
(Still curious on details, automotive theory)
yea its a 5.0 from a 87 crown vic. and yes a truck plenum would be to tall. if i had to do it over again i would have used mustang upper plenum and wiring harness because the throttle body would have been on the passanger side and would cleasr the master cyl a lil better. this plenum would never work if i was running power brakes.
Looks like U been havin too much fun, Rich. I thought you'd said you'd let the lady drive, but only saw U (she musta been running the camera there a bit). She wuz @ the top of the rocks! right?
Whenja get the fancy hood?
Oops yea I was hoggin all the camera shots, so here ya go.... she was bundled up cause it was cold. The fiberglass hood came with it, the PO cut a square hole to clear the elec fan cause he did not mount it low enough, I'v since fixed that issue by lowering it.
And here is a story to go with it. When I was working on it alot the hood stayed off and I found a old business card shellacked to the underside, it was a bronco parts guy just a little north of OKC with a ph #.
I called it and the male owner has long since passed on years ago but his wife said she has NINE bldgs of EB bronco's and asked what part I needed.....complete Eb's to even the smallest part....thats way cool IMO.
I'v yet to make it over there, with all the overseas work, but when I do I will take some pics.
"I'v yet to make it over there..."
May B the guy died bout 3 yrs ago in Guthrie. I hear he wouldn't sell anything, it wuz all treasures, hadda offer BIG bucks (then it wasn't in great shape anyway...) I tried to get a rear bench but never got too far.
The lady said it was all for sale from complete rigs to the smallest part....I'll look into a rear bench seat for ya if and when I get that way, maybe spring time?
I want a spare set of complete d/s when I go wheeling in the woods.
I meant FRONT bench, I got a Rear in the shed (don't think I'll ever use it. Wanna redo to sell). Thanks, yer a goodun! Fella in Colorodie said that but man is that a long story. Next fire pit and foamy adult beverage it will come out but bed time now...
Do the shafts need to be modified 2 go on yer rig?
How long till your next trip? U on this side or 'ther right now?
