well its pretty simple. it uses the same mounting holes as the storage under your rear seat. in fact the previous generations had the option of either the cargo floor or the storage box. basically it is hinged and folds neatly under the seat. when you lift the seat you can unfold the floor. it is segmented in a 60/40 configuration for a variety of uses. you can use the seat(s) on one side, and have the cargo floor on the other. I absolutely fell in love with the cargo floor in my 08 and almost didnt buy the '12 when i found out they werent offering em anymore. but when i learned the entire back seat set up (including the floor and mounting locations) was identical and the cargo floor can be installed, it was a no brainer. the dealer sells em for 700 bucks which was a bit more than i was lookin to get into, and i heard of some guys gettin em from junkyards. but i know that can be hit or miss. I wanted to take it out of my 08 before trade in but didnt want to have issues with the dealership, so i bought one. when i traded it in i ended taking it out without any headache from the dealer. so i ended up with two. i line xed one and installed it. now i dont need the second.
Does anyone have the part # for the load flat floor ?
I missed out on this one. It looks like maybe I will order one or does someone want to swap for storage bin ? Mine is as good as new
i too have the storage bin and dont forsee ever using it...but its keyed to my truck so i cant imagine anyone wanting it.. unless there is a way around that (probably is).
