driving the effie to there i do hope jeff ..... show the world us loonies with all the old stuff built from parts and pieces they're as good as any new car eh ???? oh and jeffro no.2 that el camino i told you about that even i was tempted to get , well a friend of mine bought it . good straight body and a very healthy 460 cube big block chevy . kid couldn't afford it any more bought a little car . dennis got it for the $2,ooo he was asking .... i really needed another truck to haul stuff , just couldn't get brenda to understand i needed one capable of 12 second 1/4 mile times so i could get done faster ....... she thinks i got too many cars already ......

That reminds me. About 10 years ago I bought a 73 Century for $50. My son and I were going to put the 350 in our '54 F100 but dummy me it was a Buick 350, not a Chevy. So my son replaced some push rods and spark plugs, points and condenser, got it running pretty nice and sold it to a guy for $175 that was planning to take it cross country. Never heard form him so I've no idea how it turned out.

Yeah I wouldnt want a big block at all! No budget for gas! And no el-co for me either! LOL

So far pulling the trailer I have averaged 17 MPG
