truck dimensions

I don't have the truck with me or I could just measure it. I'm trying to buy a metal garage and I need to know how big of a door I need to order it with. Its an 86 f-250 4X4. How tall and wide is the truck? No lift installed almost factory sized tires. Tried to search but way too many things on tires and wheels come up. If i can squeak in with an 8 ft tall door I can save 300 bucks

I dont have exact measurements, but if the truck is fairly stock, it should fit into a normal garage door opening. If I remember correctly, these trucks are 6 feet wide, not including the mirrors.

My F150 has 5" of lift on 31's. It fits into a garage that has a 7 foot door opening. I have inches to spare, so I'd imagine your truck fit would too.

do you remember how tall it is. There are several height's from 7 8 and 9 but any 9 ft doors require me to increase the height o the total frame and it increases the cost by 300 to 400 bucks. Just had a chance to measure. 6.5 x 6.5 is close enough. I'll have to get at least a 7x7. Thanks for your input though

If your not tight on money why not just go with the 9'? That way it leave you more options if things change in the future.

The website shows that a 9w x 7h door won't affect the price. Going to the next size 10w x 8h increases the size requirements and adds $1300 to the cost. To keep the cost down i would have to place the door on the side instead of the end, which would make it a little difficult to make the high speed run required to drift sideways into the parking spot. Its not so much the 1300 bucks as it is the different size needed would be more difficult to accomodate on the property.
