A heated PCV valve, are you sure you are looking at the correct part?

If it is like the one on my 03 Expy it is very easy. The y shaped tubing is clipped to the PCV by a small metal clip. Remove the clip, disconnect the old PCV, install the new PCV, replace the clip, insert the PCV into the valve cover.
The major obstacle is holding hoses and wiring out of the way to get to it. Check your owners manual for the correct PCV. Hope this helps.

Go to this site Official Ford Parts Site | Buy Motorcraft & OEM Ford Parts Online | FordParts.com. You can enter the data for your vehicle and select the appropriate items and eventually get a diagram of the parts you want to change. Should give you some idea of how to go about it
