Problem Solved...Got another question now.

Well got my truck back and the problem was the FICM, Truck back to running normal....Next on the list is to at Least put another exhaust system on. Looking at the 4inch turbo back from MBRP, I have looked into the EGR Deletes and I am trying to determine if it makes sense to go ahead and do the delet kit and do away with the egr system or wait to see if I have any issues out of it, My question is how much notice would be given if the egr or oil cooler is about to fail would you have. I cant figure out if it is worth the time and money to do the delete now or just wait to see if i have problems. also would a programmer advance the possibility of having these issues, I have looked at the sct programmers but i dont want to put one in if this is going to up my chances of breakdown with a stock motor with no mods. I would normally have it one the fuel economy tune, but i would like to play with the higher tunes just to see what she can do.

thanks for you help in advance, this formn has taught me more about my truck and you will ever know.

Ditch the egr! Don't wait to find out the hard way that the cooler has failed. Besides, it's bound to only fail when your on vacation.
