New Color Matched Surround (New Ford Paint to Match Part)
I really like the color matched grille surround on the gray truck. My 2003 GMC 2500HD had the color matched package and it was real sharp. Even when I traded it in the dealer commented on how nice it looked. Anyway, hope these pics help. Next, I will be upgrading sound system or lack of it I would say. I changed the speakers, but still.......
i find it ironic for someone to buy a truck with a chrome package to then paint all the chrome the same color of the body...just sayin..
To each his own.... But to spend extra for something you're gonna remove is kind of wasteful. Just my $0.02. But hey, for the $1,300 chrome package, he still has the chrome exhaust tip. (For now)
It does look good though. I have a 2010 and am working on getting rid of some of the chrome (Don't have the chrome package).

My thoughts exactly. He might also have the chrome bed tie downs-which is important..

You guys are really hung up on the !,300 chrome package. First of all I purchased the truck pre-owned. All I wanted was a loaded Lariat. The chrome package and all it's bling was just a bonus. I'm out on all the big a$$ shiny pieces on the truck. I took the shiny wheels off my Ferrari, H1 and H2 sometimes you have to bring it down a notch or two.
Every truck out there has chrome bumpers, nothing wrong with that I just wanted mine to match the truck. Also, there are some many 6.7's running around my neck of the woods it's nice to have mine looking a little different.

BTW, I love my chrome bed tie downs
I am a firm believe that you don't need to justify your purchase to anyone but yourself and your spouse
I think the truck looks absolutely stunning. Amazing job!
Hey, don't forget those chrome tow hooks! I actually wish I had those, instead of the black - I like the way they look.
I like the chrome hooks. The truck will still have some chrome on it when I'm done, just not 6 tons of it. I also think the red bars may be too much, I need to think about it. I'll probably get my guy to paint them then I'll see.
The wheels and tires and nerf bars will go away once the lift is on.
I really tried hard to find the picture of that gray truck - have searched lots of old threads, but still can't come up with it. Anyone else remember the pictures I'm talking about? I think it was a thread about tires and rims, actually - the pics of the truck were taken when it was off-road. And it wasn't a members truck, but some pics someone had found and posted.
