Decent price for the condition, looks to be a 57+ as the running boards are short and up a little higher. Everyone and their mother around these parts turned these old trucks into trailers around here, I've even seen ones off a '48-52, always makes me wonder if they know what those beds are worth in good condition...
Yeah, I wondered about the shorty running boards, I guess it would be a 57+, but wouldn't it work on 55+?
There is a trailer a couple blocks from me made from a 51-52 with absolutely cherry fenders -- not a lick of rust. I tried to get it but he wanted big money, even tho he didn't know what the fenders were worth.

It will work on a 53 and up pickup, but the fenders on a 57 and up bed are mounted higher than the 53-56 beds. This is the mistake I made 13 years ago. I knew the beds and the fenders on 53-72 pickups were identical, however I did not know the fenders were mounted higher until I got the truck home and it was sitting in my driveway. I thought "Wow, you see a lot of the rear wheels." I also knew the body man had a hard time getting the running boards to line up right. After some measurements of my old bed sides and my new ones I knew there was a difference!
