Turn Signal Problems
I could turn it off. If I put it left, only the left blinked, but I couldn't get it to stop when I put it in neutral. If I signaled right, both signal lights went on. It was looking like "emergency lights," even though I don't have any.
Coming home today, the signals went back to working. ????
(I did put in a new "flasher.")
What should I do now? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Dan.

NOTE: There are two flashers on these trucks, one for the turn signals, another for the 4 way emergency flashers.
They look the same, but the 4 way flasher is a H/D unit, has a louder click. The T/S flasher is mounted behind the instrument cluster.
The 4 way flasher nestles into a bracket that is retained to the dash with one screw. Located adjacent to the radio.
The emergency flasher can be used for the turn signals (and was with trailer tow, peeps that were hard of hearing), but the turn signal flasher is not a H/D unit, should not be used for the emergency flashers.
