Stupid Code 157

I get that only in the CM codes.

KOEO: 111
KOER: 173

The memory portion throws a few different ones but right now I am focused on the 157. I know what it means but I dont know steps to try to determine if its bad or not. Any help is appreciated, I searched but never found anything conclusive. Also, if the MAF is bad could that cause the 173 I'm getting while engines running?

157Possible causes:
Poor continuity in MAF sensor harness or connectors.
Intermittent open or short in MAF sensor or harness.
Damaged MAF sensor.

It is possible the 157 is causing the 173.
