05 expy headache
My 05 expedition is missfiring at higher rpms. i thought fuel, so it has new filter, new pump. and it still missfires real bad at high rpms. Sometime it does it at lower rpms. I get different codes, so far miss in cylinder 5. Later one for 6. After i replaced the Fuel pump, now i get one for Evap Emissions too high at the switch. Sorry i dont have the actuall codes in front of me right now. I do have a nice scanner, so i can see certain live data from my computer. For example my Fuel Pressure to Vac is 39 psi at idle. Not sure what normal is.

It sounds like the crankshaft or camshaft position sensor is dying. I would replace the crankshaft position sensor first. It is located on the passenger side in the front cover under the A/C compressor. Available at nearly all parts stores and in stock for about $20.00.It's pretty easy to change too.
