New 2012 6.7 DRW

Today I decided to dump my 2011 silver f250 and get a 350 dooley.

I had a 6.0 05 drw and it was awesome. Tried the 250 short bed and I just didnt like it that much. My 2011 had some rattles and wind noise that drive me crazy as well. Might as well try another one. The 6.7 sure is an awesome motor though! With that being said I just went and got me a 2012 350.

That's real nice!!!

I was shopping for a white one when I bought my blue one. On the test drive I brought it home and parked it beside the 5er. It was a done deal. The blue on the 5er matched the dually primo!

Congrats on the new truck.

Very Nice, Was the wind noise that bad, have you tried the door molding mod, Hows the ride in a drw I would have to think its a little stiffer that a single rear wheel setup.
do you haul that heavy of a load to require the drw.
Im Just fishing, no big deal, wounder what the rides like..

you can always convert it right over.
fyi, there are some cons to a DRW vs SRW.
increased ride firmness.
reduction of traction.
two more tires to buy/rotate/balance.
reduced fuel economy.
higher insurance rates are likely.

my suggestion; if you don't need the extra payload or towing stability,be content with your SRW if possible.

congrats on the new truck tolliewolly.she looks like a keeper.try and take good care of her for me for the next 20 yrs please lol.

so the wind noise is less on the 2012? even after the door seal mod?

I did the seal mod on my 2011, and its pretty quiet.. just curious why the 2012 would be different.

Well that's what I thought but I read places with toll roads charging for the dual wheels.
