1962 Steering help.

In short, the wheel has a lot of play and I'm having trouble keeping her in the
lines. It is beyond sloppy. The truck will wander left, then right, then left, etc..

Checkmthe drag link that's the arm between the gear box and the spindle for play when mine wandered like that it was that arm

check for wear also in the tie rod and king pins.

The steering box will have about 1 1/4 inches of play side to side. Welcome to straight axle owner bumpsteer.
