Never seen that before. How exactly did you get the shape? Did you mold stock panels? How are you going to mount them, Clips or Screws? Looks like a cool project.
Clips or Screws? To be determined... hopefully clips.
Does it have the same texture of the original panels?..
these here are smooth panels.. although they can be formed out of ABS plastic for the textured look.
as far as cost hmmm. Idk yet not sure what the material costs.
I work in a sign shop and our vacuum former owed me a favor.. he copied a broken panel I had... He does the the most awesome work..
I'm going to make some refinements, maybe add a pocket at the bottoms. I miss my storage like the Superduty doors.
I knew it... I figured you had some access to a vacuum former. You could do a lot of cool stuff with that. Figuring out how to mount them is going to be the toughest part. Can polycarbonate take paint?

Yes he has formed me quite a bit of things. Warn winch solenoid covers, old Datsun parts. I am working on building a vacuum former at home, much smaller scale though.
As far as taking paint, thats where I come in. I am the painter, one of two. 23 yrs and counting.
"hasteranger" if I get them where the quality is a darn near perfect fit, then yes I may.
I would love a set that has the pockets on the bottom like a superduty. Can't wait to see a set. Maybe continue the panel all the way down the door for the pockets.
you get into trouble with stuff like cupholders on your standard vaccuum molding equipment. Its really hard to make shapes that complex. I'm guessing a door pocket would probably have to be a 2 part mold and glued or screwed together.
