Lightning and RV's
I was leaving Texas Motor Speedway last Sunday and a storm blew up. The lightning was hitting all around. In fact 100 feet from the RV it hit a light pole and the sizzle and snap was just to close for comfort. We hunkered down in the RV as it was a wide open Prairie and 1500 acres were the tallest point was the light poles. My curosity got me when I got home and this is what I found about Lightning and RV's...

Great info, I usually unplug and lower antenna but haven't thought about jacks. I guess on a 5ver it goes without saying that the front jacks will be down anyway so............. lightening is bad where we live in Ga. I've been caught in the camper more than once during lightening and halfway thought I was safe ! I don't now after reading the article, Sheesh !!!!!
