Question T5 INSTALL

Throwout bearing return spring connection point on T5 end . What have you guys done .

I took a piece of 3/16 steel and fabbed a flange (attached to the trans adapter plate), but then again I used the dwight bond 1" plate and the plate would have burried anything I wanted to attach to the trans itself. Just long enough to go from the top two bolts plus a bump to catch the spring.

What adapter are you using, dwight's plate, a speedway bellhousing...?

[edit] I'm also only setup to weld steel - I don't have anything to weld alu.

I am using the speedway adaptor . Maybe a small eye bolt or u bolt through the housing would work . What do you think ?
