I have a 2008 6.4 that I am interested in taking off the DPF. I have already installed an AFE Air Intake, I have replaced the factory exhaust from the Cat back with a 5" Silverline Exhaust and I also currently use the Diablosport Predator Programmer on the truck. Just to give you a little back ground on my knowledge of Diesels, I HAVE NONE! This is my first diesel that I have ever owned and I am already illiterate when it comes to any vehicle and especially a diesel. My questions are, to delete the DPF instead of buying another exhaust what do you recommend I purchase for this situation? Does the pipe have to be Silverline and 5"? Will any pipe work to match up to the 5" Silverline? As I said I have no idea what I need to accomplish this? I have heard that I need a programmer, not the Diablosport that I currently have (which I have been very unpleased with since the day I bought it anyway) and an EGR Delete as well? Thank you all so very much for your help.

check out DPF/CAT Delete Pipe for 2008-2010 Ford F250 F350 F450 F550 Powerstroke 6.4 powerstroker67 sells them. EGR delete is optional as far as tunners id look at Spartan diesel or the H&S Black max if your looking for more power both have engine and trans tunning or if you wanna go stock DPF delete they have tunning for that as well, the tunner is expandable for egr deletes, bigger injectors and so on ither way when compared to alot of the others out there

If you have a CAT back system, your DPF is already gone. So we may need to clarify a few things. But I'm pretty sure I know what you mean.
If you have a 5" DPF back exhaust, you can get a delete pipe which will fit right up. Only problem I see is you're still restricting exhaust flow as most delete pipes are 3.5 - 4". I would consider a new downpipe back system, or do a little fabrication. Perhaps your original 5" exhaust system came with an extra pipe for LWB or SWB trucks.
