130?? Thats nothing I agree though in a truck or any vehicle with signifigant ground clearance, anything over 140-150 gets downright sketchy. I could only imagine how that would be exaggerated with solid front axles.
In 1999 the first Suzuki Hayabusa hit the streets with top speeds of over 300 km/h, limited only by your gonads and the road. In 6th gear that sucker would pull right to the 14000 rpm redline. I believe I read somewhere that guys have had them 330+km/h in stock form, in ideal conditions. Suzuki ran a TV advertisment of a Porsche running on the autobahn somewhere in Europe with a top speed of 292km/h, which was a limit set by the European DOT (or whatever they have over there). The Hayabusa passed the Porsche in fine fashion, which lead to Porsche whining to the Gov't to have limits set on all road legal vehicles.
2000-current Hayabusa's or other hypersport bikes now have limiters on them, but with obvious aftermarket products out there to remove the limiters in case you have to go faster to save someone's life...you know...become an organ donor or something...
So sherm, how fast could "someone" go on that Busa YOU had? Not many good places around here that I know of that I would feel safe taking a bike up anywhere near that fast haha.

Here's an interesting Wiki read...Suzuki Hayabusa - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I believe a stock Hayabusa with all speed and rpm limiters in place and working order will quit around 290km/h or so...
And you're right, there isn't too many places in saskatchewan that are fit for going that fast.
On a closed course, non traffic area not within this province, I know a guy real well who ran about 285km/h with lots of steam left in the bikes reserves, but ran out of suitable road... Real good guy, wouldn't think of putting anyone elses life in danger... He says that speed is a very exciting thing, an adrenaline rush beyond explanation...
