DICK CLARK-RIP

The world lost an entertainment legend this morning...those who grew up in the 60s and 70s remember American Bandstand well.

TODAY Entertainment - Dick Clark dead at 82

RIP Mr. Clark!!!

Used to watch Bandstand as a kid. I remember many, many years counting down the seconds with Dick Clark on New Year's Eve. Before he had his stroke a few years ago, it seemd as if he would never get old. RIP.

I too remember the New Years count down, and American Band Stand was the Hip show in the early days. It was one of the main outlets for selling 45's back in the day.
