Electrical problem?
Hey guys, I need some help. When I get in my truck in the morning, my oil, temp., and fuel gauges don't work, and also the blower for my heat and defrost wont come on. This doesn't happen all the time, just about once a week. It only does it in the morning. I think it is an electrical problem of some kind. Any ideas? Is it just a coincedence that it only happens in the morning? Any help would be greatly appreciated because it really freaks me out when I look down and it shows that I have no oil pressure.

I would vote for the ignition switch or possibly a loose connector on it.
Next time it does it try wiggling the key....my 69 did that til I finally stopped procrastinating and swapped in a new switch.
