I was talking with trevor from pmf today. He was saying that they also offer a single style trac bar. Does or has anybody seen these or used them? I'm not completely ruling either company out I'm just checking all the options available.
Dman, you should give Dave a call at One Up Offroad. When I was in your shoes deciding on what I wanted for my truck he helped me decide. I talked with several different companies and he gave me better advice for my setup than any others. He is the type of guy that isn't going to sell you something you don't need. He only has one type of bar, there are lots of different versions, but the overall design is the same.
Or email him.... calling him would be better. LOL, he can be real short in emails... LOL.
OUO is THE best out there period in my experience.
Now I am not sure if I had any other traction bars if I would have the confidence to do that with how much I weigh and such.
Now talking hard Facts I drove a PMF lifted truck that had pretty much everything that trevor had to throw at it and it was down right the scariest thing to drive, in fact this truck went to Sema but after two different sets of front A arm bars the truck could still not be aligned right and on the freeway at 65 it had a mind of its own so it had to be towed to Sema.
Another truck that trevor had going to Sema fell apart on the way there the carrier bearing literally fell on and you can connect the dots on what happens on a two piece drive shaft if it goes limp in the middle.
Now I had a fully done OUO truck for a month while I was doing motor work to it and it was hands down just awesome to drive. 80 mph on the freeway one handed, didn't make noise when you went in and out of a drive way and best of all when you floor it from a stop it doesn't veer to the left like the PMF truck did and that scared the heck out of me
Thanks for all the input guys. I'll have to try and give dave from ouo a call and talk to him about the trac bars.
Sounds like your doing it right bud your always gonna have people claiming ones better than the other, take all the input and make the best decisions based on ur personal opinion , that's what i did!

But for the record like i said my trucks no pavement princess.... this is what i do with my truck, transported this loader at 35,000 GVW 300 miles with no issues and if the suspension didn't handel well i gurantee you it would come off my truck!!!!!
