Well I just found the volt meter this morning and tested it, and sure enough the battery dropped voltage to somewhere around 3-4 when I skipped the solenoid. So my question now is how do i fix the battery. Do i charge it up(I have a battery charger), or do I need a new one. If it makes any difference this truck hasn't run for nearly a year while I have been working on it.
when all else fails take a rubber mallet to the starter in case its stuck (just dont be too rough though). i had it happen to me once after installing a new clutch/flywheel. to be honest i dont think you have the same problem as i did, but its a free thing to try
