Yes you cluster also has a Check engine light (CEL) also called a MIL lamp or in the diagram below a Check Engine Indicator.
It is located just left of the Engine Warning Indicator or called just a warning Lamp in the cluster lay out.

The 1989 F-series cluster:

Bad ECM ?

Well , did not get a chance to check the codes , I wish my Oil Pressure Sending unit was mounted like that picture , mine screws directly in the block , I used a 6" 1/4" nipple with a Tee on the end and re-mounted sending unit just like that diagram ( straight up ) and then on the end I connected the analog gauge , and the verdict is the pressure is low but it happens pretty quick , what a joke the stock sending unit is , it shows normal pressure until it gets down around 2 psi , I am considering replacing the pump and pick-up screen as the pressure will stay around 10 psi at normal temp idle but intermittently will drop to zero , so with seeing that I am thinking it could be the pump is worn out and losing prime and possibly pick-up screen is clogged a bit as well , if I accept the age of the vehicle and the fact it was started and used at very long intervals , I am hoping that it may be the pump is worn due to dry starts and given the length of the pick-up tube may be losing prime when at operating temps , so I am going to get a oil pan gasket kit and the pump and strainer assy and replace those then do the same test , if the pressure stays solid after that I will run it , if it does the same thing then I will be certain that there is bearing issues and do like you said and replace the rod and main bearings , I will check the computer tomorrow to see if it does have codes loaded and as well I will check the lamp in the dash to see if someone has taken it out or it is blown just to be sure it is is working order as well , Thankyou for the added diagrams , I am saving them for future reference , and again Thanks for all of your help , I really appreciate it , I am just sorry because I was really hoping for a gauge issue , there is the possibility I have had the wool pulled over my eyes and the vehicle actually has 160 K miles instead of 60 K , the odometer is only 5 digits plus one for tenths , and that would be consistent with the recent clutch replacement as well , so at this point I am thinking it was sold under false pretenses , when I replace the pump and pick-up I will know for sure if it does the same thing .
