let us know how it turns out, and with the remote start, my seats did not come on the last 2 days and temps are high, my dealer did not have time to look at mine they want to reschedule.

Curious how each of you are setting your ac when u shut down...

on all my previous fords, whatever it was set at is where it came back to on remote start...
i.e. if ac was set to 72 and it was 90 in the Ex, it would start at HIGH fan and full blast to cool off quickly...

I've had the 12 on auto and recirculate and the seats on high, but it never really restarts on high and the seats are certainly not on...

trying a new tack as of today = set it on max ac to see how it does...

Well said!

just heard back from ford on my seats. they have been in close contact with engineering on the matter. they have made temperature comparisons to another 2012 truck in their inventory and cross referenced the technical specifications regarding temperature tolerances and differences. apparently the system is designed to have a 10 degree difference between seat back and seat bottom. bottom being cooler. and since my seats fall within tolerance, they have determined them to be operating properly. fine with me. as long as i know theyre right, i have no complaints. maybe i wont experience kidney freeze, maybe i will if the conditions are ideal for what it takes. either way, the dealer was very pleasant to deal with on the concern and adressed my other concern as well. (a defect in the chrome ring trim piece around the cupholders on the console - yes minor, but hey I paid good money for the rig, i want it perfect)

The tolerance of the temps is good to know, that would explain why they're not the same temps, or at least don't feel the same.

Now if only they could come up with a solution for the crooked sunglass holder in the overhead compartment. lol...

Seems easy enough to 'tweak' it yourself a bit....
open it and gently pivot it 'the other way'
it is light plastic and will move

Yeah I'm not good at tweaking things, I tend to hit that threshold where they break, then I'm out $50, or $500, whatever the case.. lol.
