What I really would like to see is a picture of Doc's truck with today's newspaper in front of it just to prove he didn't sell it off to some rat rodder.
LOL. I have to admit that I honestly stopped and just looked at my truck for a few minutes this afternoon when I came up the driveway. And seriously considered taking a picture. I'll give the "proof of life" tomorrow. LOL
Jeff has a good point, it is kind of cool in a twisted way that they picked my truck, but I guess it looked the part that they wanted with a poor pitiful rough F-5 as a "before". They definitely couldn't have used Harleymsn's truck or Jolly Roger Joe's trucks, for example, because they're nice and shiny.
(Who would have ever thought that psychotic steer would become so famous? LOL)

I am trying to be positive about it, but they should have asked permission. regardless of all the litigation terminology. Plain and simply disrespectful to NOT ask. Anybody ever heard of a blanket party?(Military Type) No not the kind you are thinking...
I'm with you Mervy on rounding up the posse but only if you and I ride to the fight in your Cobra!
That's a very good point Bob. I sure hope Doc didn't sell out and accept cookies from the darksiders.
lol... I had had a couple cold ones and when I read Doc's delemma and I was ready to rock but rethinking the situation I would like to retract, we might get our butts kicked....hahaha.
Jeff, I've got a bar of soap and a sock, this might be fun for a bunch of old coots.Hey Doc, do you think that ol steer is getting back at you for trading for the truck in the first place, just wondering,Garry

Garry, are you a Navy Vet? A bar of soap in a sock! I was always told "batteries in a pillowcase" I always wondered, who would have that combination together? A sock is a great idea! and bar of soap or whatever will fit in the sock...I like that.
I got to remember though....I am not 20 anymore...
I slept on the living room floor last night and now I want coffee and painkillers for my lower back..

Using batteries in a pillowcase would not be the best choice. There is too much of a chance of the batteries leaving marks. The sock works better because it should fit the soap well and have no extra material in the way. The soap is soft enough to limit any identifying bruises. ...This is all theory on my part I was 130 lbs until my wife got pregnant with our first child.
Doc, I had to pause the video to take a good look at your truck. It's such a nice looking truck. I couldn't watch the whole video. Of course people have to stop and look, it's kind of like a car wreck, everyone slows to see the carnage.
Bite your tongue Jeff, USMC all the way, there are some real dumbies in the Marine Corp in boot-camp too.
Marine Corp. I bit my tongue. Just now able to type again!
Were the Marine Corp. Paychecks from the U.S. Navy back then? I know they were when I was active duty. (1985-1989) So I considered Marines our Big Brothers
I tried to become a Marine before USN, but I couldn't get an MOS I wanted.
Marines are serious dudes!
Yeah I think that one single video did a lot of damage to their little endeavor. The youtube comments are basically just one insult after another. I showed that video to my dad this weekend and just told him to pay close attention without telling him why. He was not too happy either when he exclaimed "THAT'S YOUR TRUCK!!!". I explained it was just some dip****s out there in make-believe land trying to make an easy buck and break into show business. Just out of curiosity, I did a google image search on Ford F-5's. Hundreds of trucks pop up instead of mine. They must have been browsing the net for a pic about the time I posted that "Trade a steer for an F-5" thread.
Hey Doc,
Have you looked at your truck today? Hmmm....
Maybe it's not sitting down there in that field like you thought -
That dude with your steer came back & got it - Didn't like the hamburger
& made your truck into that POS!

When I first read this thread, I also did an image search on F-5's and no sign of yours. It turned up several pics of Josh's COE, Joe's (HarleyMSN), and a couple others from here. I have to believe they got it off FTE...
i have to admit that the checkered decopodge pattern on the hood really lured me in, then i started drooling over the enginweering involved with those rivits holding the windshield in. oh then i started noticing the other engineering marvels as well.
oh ya and the music in the video really makes me feel like a harda$$, think maybe ill go out in tje middle of a large dry grassy field and lightup now....
