What's the cheapest/easiest way to lift a 4x4 f250 with leaf springs all the way around? I was thinking 3 inch blocks in the front and two in the back to level it up, but am I going to have modify anything? Any advice/ideas?
Do not put blocks in the front and do not stack blocks in the rear. Also, shackles only in the front will cause your caster/pinion angle to get all fubar.
Assuming you are talking about a Superduty based on your username:
The "correct" way to do this on the cheap would be new drop hangers for the front of the leaf springs and add a leafs in the rear. This is only good for 2-3" of lift in most cases.
OP: Just a thought, depending on what you want for a lift, keep in mind not all lifts are equal, especially when comparing between a 250/350.
I know a guy who just put a 4" Rough Country Lift on his 250.... it only sits 1" higher than my leveled 350. (I purchased a 2" Mini-Spring pack and X-Code Springs.)
That's with both of us having 35" tires, too.
And as others before me said, NO BLOCKS on the front end.
Guy who uses blue text and oddball font: My 04 F250 fits 315/75/16s with zero lift.

Good for you. The guy with the 250 was running 35s before the lift. My point has nothing to do with tires, it was to point out that a 4" lift won't necessarily lift the truck 4"
when you get it lifted get you a set of thornbirds,,, Best tire ever made!!
dammit I was just gonna throw that in, you read my mind. ****ing t birds, theres like a gajillion sets on my local craigslist right now as I'm shopping for tsl's or ltb's.....guess lotsa people musta learned they suck the hard way lately...

You answered your own question...
2-2.5" level kit + x code springs will net you 3"+ so it stands to reason that his truck with 4" of lift sits exactly 1" higher than your truck and the advertised lift is exactly right.

There was no question. Glad to see you found the quote button.
The leveling kit I used added 2", and the springs added 2"
The difference between a 250 and 350 rear block is 2".... so it only lifted his rear end 3"
Again.... my point was not all lifts are going to lift the same. What works for one person might not get the same results for the other.
