Weird Noise
I have a 1992 F150 4x4 302 5 speed. Whenever I am starting off and letting the clutch out it make a nocking sound. It also makes the noise when you let off the gas after going a good speed and it kind of lunges. It is weird noise and I have checked some things but I cant figure out what it is. Thanks for any help.

i changed all my u-joints too before i dropped my driveshaft. The eye on the slip yoke was out-of-round and it snapped! However, I replaced the yoke and thought the problem was solved, but I still kept getting a funny knock. It wasnt until I was plowing one day and started to hear the fan rubbing on the shroud when in reverse. Turns out my motor mounts were completely shot! Replaced them and haven't had any issues since. So yes! It very well could be the motor mounts...Good Luck!
