Hey, question... Is that same rivited piece on a F350 frame (maybe the same piece as a F150)? I can't remember how mine is... but I'm in the process of cutting a frame up, and if it's the same, your welcome to the piece I have (the rest is going to scrap anyway). Let me know and I'll take a look when I get home.

I actually just bought the frame repair kit in question from green sales. ($60)

It will fit the Bronco and F150-350. Not sure of the years, but I believe it was intended for all the trucks 80-96.

Takes a lot of work to put it in. Needs welding to install it.

It's probably considered part of the frame itself and therefore not listed independantly in the MPC

Glad to help, hardtrucker.

The parts catalog doesn't show any views from the angle of Ron's picture nor can I find any discrete views or even a mention of that thing anywhere.

This leads me to agree to agree with Kevin, it's probably considered part of the frame itself and not a separate part.

It'd be cool if you guys who are installing it could post pictures of what you have and what you do to install it/fix the problem.

I had the exact same thing happen to my '85 4wd just recently. My friend is an excellent welder, ground notches along the cracks, drilled 3/16 holes at each
end of the cracks and welded everything up. It is still holding. You have to get the areas as clean as possible and get very good penetration. I think I am going to install a brace as well.
