I bet the pink-green stripe is the neutral safety switch.
To check it, put the truck in Park. Check for continuity across the 2 pins. If you have continuity, then my assumption is correct. Double check it with the transmission in Neutral - you should not have continuity in any other position.
To wire it up, you will need to pull the ignition switch, or at least the gauge cluster to see the wiring. A similar P/Gr wire is plugged into a pigtail on the back of the ignition switch - it feeds the brown wire plugged onto the "S" pin on the starter solenoid. Unplug the pigtail, and run a wire from the pigtail down to one port on the neutral safety switch (I highly recommend you make it a P/Gr one.) It will not matter which pin you use, as it is only an On-Off switch that is on when in Park or Neutral. Run a second wire from the second pin back to the the P/Gr wire you unplugged. This will prevent the truck from being started in any gear position but Park or Neutral - if the switch is adjusted correctly, of course.
The other pigtail is just an On-Off switch that is on when the transmission is in Reverse, to turn on the backup lights.
Since these trucks did not have backups lights from the factory, you will need to add lights and a power supply for them. Run the power feed down to one pin on the connector (again it doesn't matter which one) and a wire from the other pin back to the lights. Be sure to add a fuse in there somewhere.
If you can obtain the wiring harness from the donor vehicle, it will make things a lot easier even though you will still need to do some ad hoc wiring, but it will be a lot less.
Good info guys! I was wondering about how I was going to wire a reverse light up on my truck with my C6. I guess Ill need to look closer now, and wire that in when I build my harness.
Ya just look around and see if you have those two pigtails. I found mine when i had the trans hump off to weld up the hole from the original shifter. The PO just put in a panel held in with pop rivets...
If your truck has a C4, it was swapped in. No C4's until 1965, then in 1965/66 F100/250 240/300 I-6 only. FoMoCo didn't offer backup lamps for trucks, Bronco's & Econolines until 1967.
1964/66 F100/250 2WD Styleside, 1966 F100 4WD Styleside: The tail lamp assemblies (all are the same, but are right/left specific) used on 1967/72 F100/350 Stylesides, 1967/77 Bronco, 1969/74 Econoline will bolt right on.
The tail lamp lens incorporates the backup lens within it.

I know it's not original. This truck has a 302 and a C4. The gears in the rear axle aren't even original. That was all done LONG before I owned the truck. I talked to a previous owner and the 223 was pulled sometime in the eighties
