Ok, here's the deal. I have a '95 f150 4x4. I put skyjacker 2" springs on the front last fall. They ride fine, but didn't lift the front at all. So now I'm going to order the daystar leveling kit and be done with it ( I plan to leave the skyjackers on).
I ordered the tuff country drop barckets for a 2" lift, but never put them on, as i never needed them. It aligned fine without them. With the daystar kit, i know the camber will be off. From what I've read, the tuff country bracket cams will/ can bind up.
Now for my question. I read a post referring to factory '97 f250 axle brackets, in regard to a similar alignment problem on a 150. Can these factory brackets be used instead of the tough country brackets to maintain alignment? It would be cheaper than going with camber shims, and won't have these binding issues the tuff country brackets have.
I've searched this topic, but found nothing except 2 comments on the f250 brackets and neither one went into any detail.
