Alternator wiring
Is the alternator wiring harness the same in a 74 as a 79? My 79's alternator fell last night while I was removing it and ripped the ring terminals out of the wiring harness. If it's the same I can grab the harness out of my 74 parts truck.
OR
Is there a simple conversion to an alternator with internal regulator?

I was thinking Ford internal regulator alternator since it has the same mounting points, in fact the front half of the housing is the same as the external regulator version....

Alternator wiring
the guy a bought my truck from did the conversion. if you want i can get the info for you i have it in my shop. he gave me all the paper work with wiring pics. and it works great. one wire from bolt on back of alt to batt and one wire to harness. NICE AND CLEAN.
