Hello fellow members.

I had submitted the design to get approval, and it was approved this morning! So we now have an official NorCal Chapter decal.

I have also contacted Cafe Press regarding printing out the 3.5' x 5" design. There is a minor glitch that will need to be addressed first, and I have a request for assistance already sent in to them. The design does not fit their rectangle, even though I made sure it was 3.5" x 5". So I am asking them if they can fix that. I am told to expect a response in the next 48 hours.

In the meantime, I would like to know how many we should order. They have a 10 pack for $26 and a 50 pack for $110. Based on the limited amount of members who expressed interest in putting a decal on their truck, I can't see spending $110 for 50, only to use 10 or 20 of them. If we need more than 10, I can order two ten packs for $52 (plus shipping and/or handling I would imagine). So please post a response to this and let me know how many you guys want. That is a huge savings over the individual price of $4.50.

One last thing, and I hate to keep bringing this up, but I am currently unemployed, and cannot pay for this printing up front. I would need to have the money from those who want decals first before I can order them. If I was working, I would have no problems buying two 10 packs, and just doling them out as members ask for them. However, the money simply is not there to do that.

Now, for those you have not seen the poll results, or the other decal threads, here is the winning design that would be printed up once we determine how many are needed.

Okay, one for Red460. I am going to buy two for myself. One on each side of the Bronco's rear side windows. So, that is a total of three. I plan on keeping the design on their site for as long as needed, so we can make as many or as few as we need whenever we need. I get paid Thursday also so I should be able to pay for mine. Thanks for the offer though.

Where the hells all the other orders at?

 

No clue. I would have thought that at least the 9 people who voted would want decals. I guess there is no pride in being a member of the NorCal chapter. Gonna have to change that I guess. Where are those cheerleaders I ordered? That should get some attention!

I ended up not voting because I have never liked stickers on my vehicles, so I didn't think it would be fair for me to vote.

I will take two though, just because....

Ok, so we have 6 now. Think I will just order one 10 pack then. I would rather $2.60 for each one rather then $4.50 Of course, it is interesting that FTE now has a deal with Cafe Press to sell their decals, bumper stickers, and even T-shirts and hats. So, maybe some of our members are doing that, instead of this decal. No idea. I also agree to a point about putting stickers on my vehicles. Normally I don't, as I think it looks tacky. However, I have put two small US Air Force stickers on the rear side windows of the Bronco already and it doesn't look bad. I plan on putting these on the same windows but up near the doors, not back near the tailgate like the Air Force stickers.

Ok Hank will do, thanks. I had heard from other CL's that they had a similar problem, one ordered 250, and says he still has half of them after 3-4 years. I would never order that many unless I had confirmed orders high enough to justify it. I do think he mentioned that the 250 was a minimum amount from the company he used. I would look somewhere else if that was the case here.

Hank since you are putting the money up front, should I just have those who order one send their checks to you?

They F'd up the payroll don't get paid till next thursday, sorry Jim still want one will just have to wait. If Hank and you decide you want the checks sent to him I will do it np, next week. This friday sucks .
