Camshaft position sensor adjustment.
I just recently purchased a 2000 Ranger with the 3.0 L. The check engine light was on and the scanner said there was an issue with the camshaft position sensor. The previous owner had recently replaced this sensor but I've been told that he must not have installed it properly. I'm currently getting 14 mpg so I would like to know how to adjust it so that my truck runs better and gets better gas mileage. Any help is appreciated.
