My 94 F150 starter quit, started one minute the would't start again.
Thought it was the spade connector being dirty and not making contact.
I cleaned all the contacts from the battery to the starter, still nothing.
I pulled the starter everything looked fine.
When i was first starting clean the conacts on the solenoid on the side of the road it made contact enough to start the truck and get me home.
If I made contact with a wire brush it made contact and started.
Long story short the little copper wire that is soldered to the male part of the spade connector had come loose.
I resoldered it END OF PROBLEM.
Hope this saves someboby a tow bill or a new starter.
