Ball Joint Replacement Question
I'm replacing the upper and lower ball joints in my 2002 4WD Excursion. I've never done this before.
I noticed that after I installed the new ball joints and hung the knuckle back on the axle, cinching down the upper and lower ball joint nuts tightly, that the Knuckle did not turn right and left as easily. In fact it was quite stiff.
Is this normal, or should I loosen up on those ball joint nuts?
