My new 2001 F250 Lariat 4x4- V10 cost $11,500.00. Worth it?

I have put 500 miles on it since Thursday.Towing on the highway and driving empty in the city has pretty much proved to me that this is one awesome platform. This truck was worth the $11,500.00 to me but just out of curiosity did I pay around the average or did I pay a little more? The condition is clean like new with very few dings. Interior is as new with just the little cracks in the drivers side seat leather just barley showing. Everything works as it should and it has like new correct tires. It looks like I found the perfect forum to troubleshoot problems in the future if any. This truck has 95,000 miles and is still very tight! Oasis showed replacing the ball joints and charging the A/C. I know the 100,000 mile service is coming but shouldn't be a problem. Lets see if I can post some pics.

I think you paid a slightly above average price, but the truck is in above average condition. I don't think you made a bad deal at all, that's a really nice truck in excellent condition. Mileage is pretty low for an 11 year old truck too.

You paid what it was worth for you >>> END OF THE STORY.
Now instead of hearing from other guys that they prefer different color, different configuration, different engine -better take somebody you like into drive in and ENJOY.

Similar to the the previous post, this is exactly what my Dad (not the loan officer) said. Trust me I am am enjoying this old truck, would love to find a Drive Inn! Throw a twin mattress in the truck bed, load up the favorite beverage and watch the sun come up as the last credits roll on the quadruple feature. Been there, was a great time to be.............

Very nice truck for the price.
I had paid $9200 for an 01 F350/V-10/Lariat/CC/LB/4x4/105K miles and felt I got a good deal. Looked all over and found them from 6500-14000....different parts of the state and a big difference in condition. I figured....my truck...I bought it....didn't really care what others thought!!
Congrats.

It's beautiful.., I paid 15,000 cash in 2010 for my baby...99.5 cc,lb,drw,4x4,lariat,7.3,auto with 31,114 absolutely mint miles, and since then I've turned down offers above $20k. Mine is red, I like your color combo better, but I wasn't shopping...I just got lucky and happened to be at the right place at the right time. Personally...I think you got a great deal, with diesel being around $4.00 around here....I would've liked the gas engine....but I wouldn't sell now. Good luck, I love that truck...a lot !

I'm with the rest, you got what you want and were willing to pay for it so who cares if someone else thinks otherwise. It's a sharp truck and has manual shift 4x4!!.......
