Caveman84, or anybody else that has experienced this, mind sharing how you managed to get it back in? I am running into the exact same scenario right now. The plastic strap is still in place, but its almost as if the little Chinese tards who manufactured the thing, intentionally let the "retaining strap" be longer than its supposed to be so we cant fit the slave easily into its clip mount.

edit: Hah! Never paid any attention. First post in 8 years lurking here on FTE.

took a ratchet strap from fork arm to front axle, then a corw/pry bar and pushed with my foot, n slapped it on up in the clip, n then popped the shipping strap, which I think is still there..
