key help
Well I just bought a 1999 f150 xcab 4wd with the 5.4 from a rental car business. I am real excited about it since I have been driving my old 86 f250 diesel for about 15 years. Heres the problem I had to leave the truck at my brother inlaw house because I live 300 miles from where I purchased the truck. Well last night he called and said they cant find the key anywhere. Of course it has the antitheft option. Not sure what to do. I called a lock smith and he said I need a key code. I called the ford dealer and they said they cant give it to a private party. Any help from anyone that has had to deal with a lost key would be a great help. Thanks.
