Idle air control system problems, help please

Hello , new to this forum , pleasure to be here , owner to an 2005 expedition with a 5.4L. with 150000 miles have this truck sense new , never had any trouble out of my expedition , is a true exellent machine , lately however i've been seeing that my rpms when coming to a traffic light come way down like to 500 then down to 450 , i feel a little movement shaking of the engine ,then starts climbing higher on rps to about aprox. 550 ,then ok no ather signs , this couple of days the little engine sign came up , erased it and came back up again , took it to the autozone and gave a code : idle air control system revolutions per minute lower than expected . i think its the same low rps i've been noticing , any ideas as what to check for , planning on working on it tomorrow , thanks in advance to you all .

Welcome to FTE, glad to have yaa aboard. As for the part your looking for I tried to look it up for you but it didn't show that part for your 05 on Rock-Auto. If its anything like my 97 this is the part and what it should look like. RockAuto Parts Catalog Not sure the difference between the 4.6 and 5.4. What I would do is check all the hoses first, they become brittle from the under the hood heat and crack, its what happened to me, and I replaced mine, didn't need no IAC.
