Starting after hot??

I have a 97 F150 with 4.2 V6. After I drive a while and motor is hot it does not want to start back up till it cools a bit. Sometimes will start but severe drag. Have replaced starter cause thats what I thought it was, helped very little. I have 115000 miles and have run out of ideas?

Q1. does it turn over hard/slow, 2. turn over fine but not fire, or 3. does it sputter and huff at a super low idle when it does start?

A1 starter motor may be seizing when hot
A2 vapor lock of fuel?
A3 don't know, i'm not a mechanic!!

because she is hot, pregnant and my wife. my most valued possessions are posted!
is your charging system working properly? battery was good when cold but not when hot? usually the other way around when battery is defective i think. just curious.

Yes very odd didnt want to work when hot but does fine when cooled down. Well glad she is hot just had to ask hope i didnt offend. Just had a baby ourselves here!
