Ok - what did I do ?!?
2012 f250 CC
Playing with the 'dimmer' switch and not sure how to get it back...
my dash lites are dimmed too much during the day, but if I go back up with the dimmer switch it turns on the overheads ?!?
does this thing have some multi mode that if the lights are on and you play it does one thing and if they are not it does another ?!?
On my older truck, the dimmer switch is also the dome light switch.
If I roll the switch ALL the way UP, it "clicks" and turns on the dome lights.
If I just click the switch back down, the dome lights go off... and if I turn it MORE in the down direction, my gauges start dimming.
Turn the overhead lights on then just tap the button down and the lights should go off but keep the dash lights bright. Also are your head lights on? In auto mode don't cover the sensor in the middle of the dash by the windshield.
