faulty E-brake
My 92 F-150's E-brake works sometimes but others it won't. The thing is when I push on it with my foot it use to catch almost right away and now it nearly goes all the way to the floor before it catches. What do I have to do to fix this prob? The teeth don't appear to be stripped but they very well could be. Pleas give me any advice on this. Thanks in advance!

Talk to your Ford dealer - there was a TSB and maybe even a recall on them, and they just install a dinky little plastic clip in the e-brake mechanism to fix it. They might do it free, but if they want to charge you, just get them to give you a copy of the TSB and do it yourself. The clip can't cost more than $3 even if they won't give you one free.
