Yeah speaking of stock piling parts. haha I found a local guy on CL who had an all aluminum 7.3 Intercooler. Got it for $30!!!

Then the same day (this all occured yesterday). I went out to another local guy in the boonies and picked up a 7.3 IC (plastic sides) with aluminum welded pipes (no boots) for $150!

The guy up in WI who had the complete engine said he has a higher bid for the block and injectors and harnesses, but the turbo/IC/Spyder could be mine for $125!
So thats today's adventure assuming he doesnt back down. You know how CL people can be...

OT, but I've been looking at your signature for awhile now, Chase... what exactly happened to your '96? I remember when you sold your SD and bought the '96. Got a picture of it?

Of my SD or of my 96?
The 96 got totaled about a year ago unfortunately. It was my own fault and it sucks to even think about it still.

Yeah, I just remember back when he had gotten the OBS... he was big on the SD forums. I didn't know he'd wrecked the '96 and I'd been reading his signature since I got on the OBS sections and I finally had to ask.

Yeah about the darn spider... I tried to let you have a stab at it first

I still have Whitey, well... parts of it. Still makes me kinda sick to my stomach to see it every time I come home or walk out of the house. I need to finish stripping it down and get the remains hauled off 'twas a damn nice truck, to be able to go back and change the past...
Jon I quit going to the SD forum because there seems to be a new fold there, and I was no longer part of the "in" crowd there. Besides, OBS trucks are better anyways... now git outta here troll!

Yeah, IDK what's up... it's changing over there. The guys still driving the OBS trucks are awesome as the trucks IMO. I've loved every single OBS I've worked on, they're just cool trucks!

Hey not trying to butt in here but if fore some odd reason that spyder does not get picked up by one of these other fellows... I'd be more than interested to take it off your hands. Just let me know what you want for it and how you would like me to pay.... Originally wanted to go with a 3 inch plenum Idea but found out the heads can not flow the CFM's to benefit from 3" plenums. Shoot me a PM if it does not go to someone else. Did not want to agrivate anyone by PM since I'm still pretty new on here.

Ill send out PM's accordingly if I end up getting that extra spyder/intercooler and turbo setup tonight.

Currently in my hands I only have one spyder, two 7.3 IC's, and one set of aluminum IC pipes.
So if you need an IC and pipes
I also have a set of 96 injectors that have 120k on em!
Im waiting to see if I am rebuilding them or going to have to use them to replace a few in my truck to keep it running.
We shall see.
